The smart hybrid method allows for a more efficient procedure in urban and suburban areas. In the E-Charge method, the battery charges even if the V8 is running, accumulating far more electrical power than needed in the driving situation you find yourself in. In both Activity and Sport Plus modes, the combustion engine generally works. The sport mode offers truly sporty options for backtracking and motorway journeys: the battery is charged to the bare minimum to have adequate acceleration phases and promise sporty driving. As with all Porsche styling, in Activity Plus the focus is on the utmost sportiness. Driving comfort and balance have also been improved thanks to new management programs. The same applies to the steering adjustment, the application of which is derived from the 911 and the Taycan. The braking system is even more impressive: the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is equipped with ceramic discs as usual, a depth that does not go unnoticed depending on the size of the car or truck. The body weight and proportions are felt while driving, however, mostly on winding streets, while the big terrain is definitely the highway.
