The Porsche Panamera has consistently stood out for its qualities as a luxury sports car or truck and its tremendous comfort for the driver and passengers: the plug-in hybrid edition only confirms and reinforces these traits. There are a few hybrid versions: sport sedan, govt and sport touring. We analyzed the flagship design, the Turbo S E-Hybrid Activity Turismo, equipped with a 4-liter V8 thermal powertrain developing 571 hp mated to a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor, integrated into the gearbox of transmission. PDK dual clutch. – for a full tank of 707 hp. A mix that guarantees spectacular efficiency: an acceleration of 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and an optimal speed (study of the authorized location of course) of 315 km/h. The overall capacity of the high-voltage battery has been increased from 14.1 to 17.9 kWh, while the driving modes have been changed for even more efficient use of electricity. The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid offers a purely electric selection of 50 km. Porsche plug-in hybrid types can also conveniently be charged at home by plugging them into a standard domestic or industrial outlet. Based on the product, the standard Porsche Mobile Charger achieves a maximum electrical output of 7.2 kW. In addition, with the Manner 3 cable, it is possible to load the automobile in the community columns. The electric motor draws its electricity from a high-voltage battery installed in the rear of the automobile. Obtain significant electric autonomy and accumulate reserves for the electric impulse. The battery installed below the trunk on the floor has been stored compactly, allowing the sports sedan a large trunk potential of 403 to 1242 liters (Activity Turismo: 418 to 1287 liters). The four modes E-Energy, Hybrid Auto, Activity and Activity Plus can be chosen using the change method in the normal Sport Chrono package. Both E-Maintain and E-Cost modes are also readily available. To further enrich the practical experience of driving in electric mode, the charging capacities have been optimized: the new Panamera Hybrid models start in E-Electric power mode, even if the dosage of the interaction between the electric motor and the engine thermal is controlled, as usual, with the accelerator pedal. The smart hybrid method allows for a more efficient procedure in urban and suburban areas. In the E-Charge method, the battery charges even if the V8 is running, accumulating far more electrical power than needed in the driving situation you find yourself in. In both Activity and Sport Plus modes, the combustion engine generally works. The sport mode offers truly sporty options for backtracking and motorway journeys: the battery is charged to the bare minimum to have adequate acceleration phases and promise sporty driving. As with all Porsche styling, in Activity Plus the focus is on the utmost sportiness. Driving comfort and balance have also been improved thanks to new management programs. The same applies to the steering adjustment, the application of which is derived from the 911 and the Taycan. The braking system is even more impressive: the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is equipped with ceramic discs as usual, a depth that does not go unnoticed depending on the size of the car or truck. The body weight and proportions are felt while driving, however, mostly on winding streets, while the big terrain is definitely the highway.

Do not like
The characteristics of this athletic sedan are considerably influenced both by the dimensions (well over 5 meters long and 1.9 meters wide), not always suitable for the urban environment, and by the optimal weight of 2.8 tons. .
